We refer to the following paragraph in the news article published in the Financial Daily on Wednesday, 10 March 2010, entitled “Lye seeks injunction to block 2nd EGM by Low” :-
“A party linked to Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad’s deputy executive chairman Datuk Vincent Lye has filed for an injunction to block an extraordinary general meeting (“EGM”) scheduled for March 17.”
The Board of Directors of Ho Hup, after having made due enquiry, wishes to inform that a major shareholder of the Company had filed an injunction to stop the EGM scheduled for 17 March 2010 in relating to the Removal and Appointment of Directors, and the application for the injunction will be heard on Monday, 15 March 2010. |
