- INJUNCTION ORDER SERVED ON THE COMPANY, DATO’ LOW TUCK CHOY, LOW LAI YOONG AND LOW CHEE & SONS SND. BHD., BY PENDAFTAR SYARIKAT
Contents: Pursuant to the Company's announcement made on 11 March 2010, the Board of Directors of Ho Hup wishes to inform that the Company has been advised by the solicitors that based on the cause papers served by the Registrar of Companies ("ROC"), ROC’s cause of action, amongst others, is based on a breach of section 69F of the Companies Act 1965 by Dato’ Low Tuck Choy ("LTC"), Low Lai Yoong ("LLY") and Low Chee & Sons Sdn. Bhd. ("LCS")
 
The aforesaid section requires LTC and LLY, being substantial shareholders of Ho Hup, to give notice to the Company within 7 days of a change in their interest in Ho Hup.
 
According to ROC’s cause papers, ROC had, based on the investigations conducted by ROC, discovered that LTC and LLY had breached the aforesaid requirement. ROC had exercised their powers under sections 69N and 368A Companies Act 1965 to apply for the injunction.
